Guiding you through the basics

Everything you’d expect from Mental Health First Aid Training

Mental Health First Aid plays an incredibly important role in supporting workplace mental health. It equips the relevant people with the right skills to recognise distress, start conversations, and know where to signpost.

A recognised Mental Health First Aid Qualification
CPD accredited certification
Practical tools to spot signs and respond safely
Relational insight and emotional safety

Plus the extra skills you need to proactively support your people

When someone opens up to you at work, it’s rarely simple. What do you say? How much do you take on? When do you lean in — and when do you gently step back?

Our psychiatrists have woven the answers to these questions through the fabric of our course so you:

Understand why people react, and how to respond
Reflect on your own ways of coping
Learn how to say present, kind and clear
Know how to confidently show up in the best possible way

What makes MOAI Mental Health First Aid Training different?

No more role confusion

You’ll leave our training knowing exactly what’s yours to do — and just as importantly, what’s not. No guesswork, no guilt.

Evidence-based insights

You’ll develop a deeper understanding of how trauma, stress, and emotional overwhelm can affect behaviour — and learn the skills needed to meet people where they are.

Unlock your response style

How do you show up when you’re under pressure. Do you fix? Freeze? Over give? We provide you with essential skills to help you understand yourself so you can find steadiness and clarity in challenging moments.

Practice real conversations

We go beyond “just listen” and “ask twice.” Our enhanced training will give you the opportunity to practice how to stay present, set boundaries, and bring calm to crisis. All under the guidance of experienced psychiatrists.

Keep yourself safe

It’s important to recognise that supporting others shouldn’t cost you your wellbeing. You’ll leave with tools to protect your energy — and build safer cultures long-term.

Tailored to your team

Mental health challenges don’t exist in a vacuum—they’re shaped by the pressures, risks, and cultural norms of each industry. For group bookings, we tailor the training to reflect the real-world stressors and responsibilities your people face.
